When I was enlisted in the United States Air Force, I was injured in country. The accident put me in the hospital and months of rehab afterwards. My supposed friend got a hold my social security card and had their fun thinking I was down for the count. After six months of Rehab, my condition dramatically improved. I was medically retired from the service at age 25. I had signed up with the "other credit repair company" and discovered that they left me in just about as big a mess as I started. I had several accounts "in dispute" and this DID raise my credit score...however, in order to qualify for a new home loan one can not have any accounts "in dispute". So I was left to try and figure out how to get those off by myself. Well this area certainly is not my area of expertise so naturally I floundered about. I received poor advice from a mortgage broker and wasted more time and money. Then luckily I was put in contact with NCF via word of mouth and was educated on the CORRECT ways to repair credit.
